Triathlon Video (Running)

North Shore Marathon 2011
May 1, 2011 Haleiwa, Hawaii Event Organizer: 808racehawaii
Running is the order of the day for this triathlon video, the inaugural North Shore Marathon, a double-loop, out-and-back course that stretched from Haleiwa to the end of the road at Kaena Point on the island of Oahu. Conditions were deceptively difficult, borne out by the toll that rising temperatures and humidity took on several racers, including men's winner Thomas Puzey. Triathlon Illustrated has produced five videos for this event (see below): My Cameo, Race Coverage, an interview with men's champion Thomas Puzey, an interview with women's champion Jennifer Hall (who ran a personal best), and an inspiring interview with Marc Dibernardo, who set a Guiness World Record that will humble anyone who has ever run a marathon. What is My Cameo? It's slow-motion video of YOU, regardless of where you placed in the race. To find yourself in the My Cameo video, you'll need to estimate the time it took you to reach the 2 mile mark in the race. Our camera was located just past that point on the course. You can check out your pace and review all the results at TimelineHawaii.com.
